My food storage is a work in progress, as it should be, right? So, I am constantly looking for new recipes that I can add to my food storage options. 2 weeks ago I fell into a beautiful deal where I got 28 cans of some organic/brand name/$3.99 per can Tomato sauce-- for FREE ( I only had to pay tax after sale and coupons [see #41 of my 100th post]). So I've got to find some recipes that use Tomato sauce. (I already keep the canned meat and beans on hand for quick and easy meals)
Here's one I made up (maybe not-- but it's the first time I've done it this way)
Chicken Chili:

2 cans each: White Beans, Black Beans, Kidney Beans
Sauted Onion
Sauted Garlic
1 can Tomato Sauce
1 can canned Chicken
Salt & Pepper
Chili pepper
Dump altogether in a pan, bring to a boil, cook liquid down for about a hour and TADA!
It turned out pretty good. Easy, quick, variety-- success.
