Last Night

So, for FHE we (HH nor I) prepared a lesson. So, over dinner, we took a poll of what we should do...The answer was an un-negotiable: SETTLERS OF ZARAHEMLA game night. It is a fun game of strategy, skill and this one in particular, full of-- an almost 3 year old. We defied several of the rules by allowing said -3 year old to play with us-- RULE #1 says: for ages 10+, he's got about 7+ years before he can play again; next RULE #2: (and I quote) “WARNING: Not for children under 5 as the small parts may be inhaled or swallowed”; yea...um... he tasted every single one of those darn red pieces he was playing with (beware of the boy spit if you ever come over to play with us). He was happy as could be and no one had to call 911. I call that a successful FHE-- HH and I-- HAPPY, older Girls-- HAPPY and almost 3 year old-- HAPPY-- thinking he is playing a big kid game of skill. (You should have seen the way he was placing the temple stones with such skill and strategy) It was great fun, before we knew it was way past time for bed. (And I didn't even get a headache...)
