This is one of our family favorites. This is a very simple yet yummy soup for a nice rainy or cold day.
Potato Soup
Put the following in a big pot and barely cover with water. Cover with a lid and bring to a boil-- until potatoes are soft.
several diced potatoes
cubed ham or raw bacon
diced onion
diced carrots
2 chicken bullion cubes (Knorr brand from MEX isle)
Put the following into the blender; blend and pour into pan-- (do not drain the water from pan)
2 cups of Milk
5 Tbsp of Corn Starch
1/2 cube of Melted butter
1/2 tsp of Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp of Garlic salt
Salt & Pepper to taste
Let simmer until thickened-- Enjoy with hot GF bread.

This soup sounds so good. I think that's what I'll make for dinner. Not even 9 am and I already have my dinner planned. You are a good friend!!! Laurel
mmmmm, potato soup! Too bad I already planned beef stew. I like your new background!
Today seems like a great day for Potato Soup-- rainy, cold...warm yummy soup.
Laurel, I'm glad I could help. What are friends for, anyway?
Lottie-- Beef stew sounds good too. I wanted a new background that was springy, with a touch of st. patricky. Glad you like it.
