Yea, so it has been a long time since I have written-- Just lazy-- nothing else. I think I left off sometime around Thanksgiving.
Christmas was good--Lew and I agree that this was the best we have had. We have been blessed immensely and were able to share some of what we have with others. Sharing has rewarded our family in ways that I cannot tell. We went ot Wnedell and spent the week doing absolutley nothing but relaxing. I do have a new hillbilly badge though-- you wanna hear about it? We went to Buhl on Christmas eve for a Christmas aprty/Birthday party for Grandma (90yo). My mom asked me to run to the store. When I was ready to come home from the store, the lights on the Suburban would not work. So I drove home in the dark withe the hazards on-- thank goodness it was less that a few miles. So I went in the house, told Lew what the problem was, he went out to stretch his brain and get it fixed. But couldn't figure it out (the right way) so he asked my dad for a light switch (yea um one that you would flip on to turn the lights on IN THE HOUSE!) and he wired it in. Works like a champ- -BUT I HAVE A LIGHT SWITCH FOR A LIGHT SWITCH!! (still and it is FEB) So yea, I'm a Hillbilly-- but I am married to a genius!
After Christmas, Lottie stayed with us for a few days, we had lunch with SarahK (google her if you want), had a great New years eve at a friends house, went sledding, and more-- (but I can't remember everything.) We found out we were expecting before Christmas, but to our dismay, I miscarried at 9 weeks and have spent the last 3 weeks getting back to normal after the D&C. A tragic accident took the life of a good friends sister (age 19) (she lived with him and his family -- they raised her as thier own child) last week on the icy roads--so I attended a difficult funeral. Lew and the Girl's went skiing last night at Bogus, Maylin watched John and Jody and I went to a movie and dinner. Now Lew and I are looking forward to reaching our 14th anniversary on Tuesday the 12th. I think we will go out tonight when he gets home from the World Wide Leadership Training meeting (church mtg).
That of course is just an overview-- but it gets me caught up, as well as you.
Today was lazy-- we should have been outside enjoying the sunshine--hope ya'll did for me!
