So yea, most mornings I let the girl's fix their own breakfast. I know, you may think that I am not fulfilling my responsibilities as a mom, BUT I need them to learn to organize their time, learn to work in the kitchen and have some independence AND this works for me. I will make up some waffle batter (both GF and Gluten-ous) and leave it in the fridge so that they can fix themselves a waffle. Well-- all I had in the fridge was the GLUTENed batter-- and I had not told them that. So yesterday, Ry got up and fixed her and Ty a waffle. When I came downstairs and asked what they had eaten, and they told me-- I went into panic mode. Ty reacts to a crumb of bread and here she ate a WHOLE waffle. She got a headache, spastic, and forgetful...It is amazing howit effects her when she has gluten...what a blessing it is to know that all we have to do to help her feel good is avoid certain foods.
