Youngest talks -- we smile -- it's a game we play

Youngest has been quite vocal this weekend-- saying lots of funny things. Here is a sampling:
So, We have this same picture, framed and hanging in our upstairs hallway. Jo sees it every time he goes anywhere upstairs. He has gone through fazes where he wants to give Moroni kisses. Talks to Moroni and just wants to stare at the temple. We have told him that the temple is Jesus' house and that it is a very special place to go to. Well this weekend-- he shared with us his true desires. It went something like this:

"mudder, I go to temple, I go to Jesus' house"
me: and do what?
"I go to temple door"
me: and...
"and go knockknockknock"
"HELLO, Jesus!"

Next:
we were all sitting at the table after dinner talking. Discussing how Jo has decided that he likes to call me "mudder"  his version of Mother. So we went around the table having him say every one's name.

he points me: "mudder"
points to HH, HH says "father"
Jo repeats: "fawder"
points to oldest: ......
we say: "sister"
Jo repeats: "sister"
points to middle: .....
we say: "sister"
Jo repeats: "sister"
we point to Jo and ask: "who are you?"-- to which he usually replies: "JO-JO"
But this time he surprised us a bit.
Jo's answer to who he is: "Baby Jesus"

we laughed at his cute-ness-- and he smiled!

I still get a giggle every time I think of him praying at dinner. Darn cutest thing I ever saw!
