I am back-- and fully loaded!

I remember the IV being started. I remember the versed. I remember looking around the Operating room. I remember sitting up for them to do the Spinal block. I remember a nice lady with short hair telling me I was fine-- while going back and forth to a computer where others were standing.

That's about it.

Then I was in my room with people all around me getting me situated. Then I slept. and slept. and slept some more. I remember the ladies wanting to open my blinds ...but it just happened that the window washers were washing my 9th floor window at that exact time...so they waited.

Then I was starving.

They kept bringing me crackers- and I kept reminding them [gently] that I couldn't have them because of that pesky gluten intolerance...oh yea-- here's some pudding. Chocolate or Vanilla.

Finally I got got a giant chef salad about 11pm on Wednesday. and a walk around the floor trailing with me my friends: IV stand and Foley cath bag.

Slept fine-- even with the ladies checking my BP and O2 and temp every 2 hours. I even had a dream that I was sharing my room with someone.

Next morning got that cath out. Good-- what a relief. Doc came in and did some post surgical stuff..removal of stuff...etc. Told me about how it all went and [laughing doc] told me about my anesthetic trip this time. that will be the next post...stay tuned...

hung out, slept, ate, slept, watched some TV [convinced even more so-- now that I will never need anything more than the free channels--there is nothing on even with the more channels you have]

After things were removed and I passed all the pee tests, I got to come home about 7:30 last night.

Had a bit of bathroom trauma, but all is ok, thanks. I slept great, only had to wake HH up twice to help me get to the bathroom.

So here I lay in bed with my lap-top, HH is in his chair beside the bed with his lap-top and youngest is laying in bed with me with his "toy" lap-top...sad huh?

I feel pretty good, really... thanks to the darvacet...

So glad you are feeling good, and in time you are going to feel even better. Ask your "HH" when I can come over to clean house?
