UPDATE: on cousin Steph

Well it seems that she is well enough to be sent home. That is good news for sure. They started Chemo again last week-- got her stable enough to go home and off she went with the council that she will repeat chemo every 21 days and that her chance of surviving this bout is 50/50. My mom told me that Steph and her mom were putting up Christmas lights today. Tough to think this may be her last time putting up Christmas lights...I guess none of know when we will experience some thing for the last time.

I had a chat with my 91 year old Grandma on the phone on Friday regarding Steph. She said that if Steph was going to die, grandma hoped that it would be fast. I hope it is as well, for the fact that faster is better than being in pain for a prolonged amount of time. BUT I also think it would be hard knowing you were going to die, but just waiting for the inevitable...death can be such a scary thing, if you have time to think about it. I am thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that gives Hope and Joy  and knowledge of what happens when we leave this mortal world-- knowing that our life is really just beginning.
