Q: Have you ever needed to pee but just couldn't?
SILLY: Yes, funny you should ask. In fact, this very thing happened just today.
Q: Oh really, please tell me more.
SILLY: OK. I remember getting up around 4am to pee. but not getting the full satisfaction that usually comes only from a completely empty bladder.
Q: Go on...(on the edge of the seat)
SILLY: I went back to bed only to be pulled out of bed by the intense urge to urinate. At this time the alarm had already buzzed and the 5:30 wake up call had been heard. I tried to pee, but alas-- nothing came out.
Q: No, say it ain't so...(still on the edge of the seat)
SILLY: Oh yes, most definitely true. I tried several times to go. After I took Ty to the Bus stop, I came home to find me a Dr to go to. Both of the Dr.s I go to don't open their phones until 8:30. So, I paced in between toilet sits.
Q: This is so enthralling, I love to hear about other's bathroom habits...please continue...
SILLY: OK. Finally I took a HOT bath. I read on-line that that can stimulate things and get it all moving...didn't work. Finally it was time to call the Dr. I was told to be there at 10:15am. I lined up some child care for my sweet youngest child and then proceeded in getting ready-- re-fixing my leftover "do: from yesterday, washing off the smudged (leftover) mascara, and trying to find some clean clothes.
Q: You mean you don't....oh, never mind... continue on with the story-- the suspense is killing me...(relaxing a bit)
SILLY: On my way to the Dr. I drank 2 glasses of water. I was able to fill up the collection cup 1/3 of the way. He did a ultrasound and said I was still full of pee. (yea, duh!?!) He would run a culture and be in touch. Meanwhile I was to try to drink normally, try to pee every 2 hours and if my bladder still felt full by 3 pm, I needed to be catheterized....ewww, yucky, ouch....and all that. Well, home I went.
Q: and then....(fully relaxed, and a bit bored...)
SILLY: I took another hot bath...then I peed blood...yea you read that right. I then called back to my Dr, trying to not freak. Nurse C said that wasn't normal. (really?) So they called in the antibiotic and said to go to the emergency room and get it drained.
Q: OK, time to make it a bit quicker, your loosin' the audience...maybe making a few of 'em a bit sick...(BORED STIFF!)
SILLY: I have a bladder infection. AND I still need to PEE!
Q: Finally, Oh I mean...I sure hope you get better soon...(hurries off to get coat and keys, making a hasty exit before Silly decides to add any more details to a far too private subject)
(small print: Sillya has never had a UTI nor a Bladder infection nor a Kidney infection nor a sinus infection nor an ear infection nor a bone infection nor a eye infection nor any other kind of infection that she can think of...there is no known use of Antibiotics in her system....)

Oh, I can empathize. Good luck with that. It is REALLY horrible when it is you.
Thanks for all the information on your bowl habits.
I've been thinking of you thinking of you since yesterday afternoon. So sorry!! If you are not feeling well I would be happy to get the girls home from the bus! Let me know!
