My friend Nicole (Hi Nicole!) told me about this one Mormon Mom Blog (family)-- I am now a bit of a self-admitted stalking addict-- here's the story--
Nie Nie (Stephanie) and her husband Christian were in a plane crash around mid august. He was burned 30% and she 83%-- both have survived thus far, the pilot/instructor was killed-- They have 4 children, 3 of which are staying with one of Nie Nie's sisters (Courtney) in Provo and the youngest staying with another sister (Lucy), also in Provo. Nie Nie and Christian live in Mesa and are in a Hosp there.
You have got to go read Nie Nies blog-- of course she is not writing currently (she just had a skin graft surgery yesterday and has been heavily sedated since the crash) BUT her sister keeps Re-Posting previous posts. Nie Nie is an amazing MOM. What fun things she does to help her children learn important principles, know that they are loved and WOW--her testimony. Her sister Courteny's Blog keeps us up-to-date on the kids, Nie Nie's and Christians health updates and just how life has changed for their family.
Go do your lurking now-- But please come back and let me know HOW you have been inspired:

Another friend and I were just talking about this the other day. Have you seen all the auctions they have for the family? I haven't read the mother's blog yet because I'm scared I'll just cry about it. I have heard some great things about it though. My friend and I were saying how the mom is expected to look totally different but will be the same person. SO, NieNie had us thinking that you should always judge someone by the inside and not the outside. YOur looks could be gone in no time but a good heart and soul is always a good heart and soul.
Laurel-- YEA-- they are amazing-- They have gotten so much support. What an amazing tribute to friends and family-- And mostly through the BLOG community...
Stephanie is an amazing person. I am inspired by her testimony of the gospel and of being a mother. I want to enjoy my life as she does.
I am glad that you are inspired by her as well. Have you read CJane today? I woke up at 4am and couldn't go back to sleep. I read CJane and was crying at my kitchen table. They handle this trial with such faith. That ispires me to live each day with more faith!
WELCOME Nicole-- glad you stopped by...thanks for for the comments!
