Sweet, Sweet Boy!

Can you hear the love & affection in my voice? I hope so, because......

So, just now, I was reading a good blog, one that I lost track of for a while and had to get caught up. Small sweet boy is yelling under his door like he does when he doesn't feel the need to sleep. I ignore him most of the time-- I know it's a ploy.

So Older Daughter goes in to check on him. HE IS STARK NAKED!! and had dumped all of his dresser drawers out. His plea: "Pee-pee treat?!?!" (he wanted a treated because he peed on the floor) I just stuffed his clothes on a closet shelf-- I'll deal with that when I've had a bit of sleep.

I will need to re-emphasize the idea of "pee in the TOILET & get a treat".

At least he didn't pee on the clothes!! It's really too bad that children don't remember their early years very well. If they could remember all these things and remember that Mom and Dad still kept them around, they would never doubt their parents love when they are teenagers!

I hope you took a picture. I did when Tyson took ALL the kleenex out of the box and had them all over his bedroom at naptime. This is a great way to show the kids what they put us through. Just a hint: Once boys start figuring out how easy it is to stand and pee it WILL happen everywhere all the time! BUT remember "They are so cute!"

one of jared's cousin said she was told to potty train a kid in one day all you do is give them only saltines, koolaid, and water all day. Apparently the saltines make them really thirsty so they drink more. Because they are drinking more they start to realize faster the feeling that they need to pee. I don't know if this works with poop also. Might be worth a try.
