still here...and rambling on...

Hope everyone had a nice Easter. We sure did. We had Lottie and her boys come stay for a few days and then we brought her home to Logan on Wednesday-- and we haven't returned back to Nampa yet. We have had a great time, but tomorrow we must go home. Ry has something tomorrow night, Jo and I need to sleep in our own beds and Ty needs somes sense of normalcy. Good steaks, chocolate covered bananas-- dipped in peanuts, a healthy dose of singing "Waltzing Matilda", and a drive in SLC traffic--at the tail of rush hour after a visit to Temple Square, (I know Laurel-- "why didn't you call?" you ask--my reply: "we only had a couple of hours today with a sub full of kids that have not had enough sleep or food--trust me, you would have turned us down-- but we will make sure we have enough time to stop next time.")

All good things must come to an end...so we will make the trek back home. The girl's have another week of springbreak and Jo's got to get potty-trained next week--wish me luck (any tips on how to make this painless for everyone involved?)

We would have loved to have seen you. I do know how it is though so no worries.
Put cheerios in the toilet bowl and make him aim. The boys loved it. I also waited until they were 3 because I heard it was easier. They were trained in a week.

The last two boys were almost three also and it was a TON easier. I just potty trained Payson in two weeks. It has to be there idea and so told him that he had to be potty trained by the time he turned three because you cannot buy diapers for big boys and when you turn three you are a big boy. He decided each day if he was going to wear diapers or big boy pants. On the days he did wear big boy pants I took him every hour. I was amazed at how well this worked and it did not even stress me out. He did it all!

Good Luck
