Hey Celia,
You can post a picture from any file you have stored on your computer.
when you are in the create blog mode(where you type the text) there is a little icon at the top of the menu bar that looks like a photo of scenery. Click on that and you will get the "insert image" option that lets you choose a picture from one of your files.
Hopefully this makes sense.
