UPDATE: Pumpkin Pie

The activity tonight went very well. We talked about hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, how to prep for cooking (making sure you have all the ingredients, etc.) and then made the pie. The girl's all ate the glutenous pies that I made earlier today and we baked the GF one for our family to eat tonight (and tomorrow).
We just had a piece and it is marvelous! The pie filling itself is GF, but the crust is where we used a specific crust GF mix. I liked it-- no real difference in taste between it and any other crust-- just a bit flakier-- but isn't that a good thing?
